Who we are
This website is run by Simon Grayson Football Academy. The Academy is delivered in partnership with PE Partner, who manage bookings, safeguarding and player welfare.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. We follow UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us when you enquire, book a session or contact us. This may include:
- Parent or guardian name, email address and phone number
- Player name, age, school year group and football experience
- Medical, welfare or additional needs information you choose to share so we can keep players safe
- Emergency contact details
- Photos or video taken at sessions, only with your consent
How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and manage bookings and memberships
- To run sessions safely, including safeguarding and player welfare
- To create individual development plans and share progress with parents
- To tell you about sessions, changes and Academy events
- To meet our legal and safeguarding obligations
Our lawful basis
We process personal information where it is needed to provide the sessions you book, where we have a legitimate interest in running the Academy, where the law requires it, or where you have given consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Children's information
We collect information about players from their parent or guardian. We only ask for what we need to coach players well and keep them safe, and we treat it with extra care.
Sharing your information
We never sell your personal information. We only share it with:
- PE Partner, who operate the Academy programme with us
- Trusted service providers who help us run the Academy, such as our booking system
- Emergency services or relevant authorities where needed to protect a child or meet a legal duty
Third-party services on this website
Bookings are made through Coordinate, a booking system operated by PE Partner. The map on our website is provided by Google Maps and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. These services may collect technical information such as your IP address, and are covered by their own privacy policies.
Cookies
This website does not set its own cookies. The embedded Google map may set cookies when it loads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law or safeguarding guidance requires. We then delete it securely.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you or your child
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Ask us to delete information, or restrict how we use it
- Object to how we use your information
- Withdraw consent at any time
